Forgive my slackness, the batteries on both cameras hadn't been charged so no pics from the past couple of days.

22nd January

Barney had his annual shave today, think the pics tell it all !

21st January

Stationary Collection day !!!!!!! The boys have been counting down the hours until they could pick up their bookpacks from school. We now have them. Just have to get 2 new backpacks and lunchboxes and we are all organised for the coming school year.

20th January

We went to the movies today to see "Old Dogs" with the boys Nanny & Grandpa. The boys really enjoyed it, as did the rest of it. I took a lovely photo of the boys with their Nanny, photo to come .........

19th January

These chore charts have been a huge hit with the boys, wonder how long that will last ? They are really loving looking at them each day and working out what they have to do !

18th January

Holidays means pancakes for breakfast during the week, at 11.30am mind you LOL !!!

17th January

One of the things the boys love most about the holidays is being able to sleep in the one room. They especially love the mattress on the floor. It is Jakes old cot mattress so it is over 7.5 years old LOL !!! It has had many uses over the years, most being as a trampoline so it can't be very comfortable but the boys love it none the less.

13th January

The boys have both been pretty ill since we returned from Echuca last week so they have been spending a fair bit of time doing 'quiet play'. They pulled out this train set that they have had for years and set it up again.

12th January

The cool change arrived and the storm rolled in, pity it didn't bring any rain with it *sigh*

11th January

It got to 44 degrees today ! Both boys have been ill since we returned from Echuca so we have had a rough trot. We managed to make it to the pool this morning for some welcome relief from the heat.

It was still 39 degrees at 9pm and the boys were taking advantage of it and riding their bikes in the backyard. Jake stopped long enough for me to snap a photo of him, one of the few where he has his beautiful smile, for some reason he has started smiling with the lips closed.....

10th January

It's been so hot in Melbourne today my outdoor candle even succumbed to the heat, I know how it feels !

Friday 8th January

It's a warm 34 degrees at the moment. Thank goodness for aircon ! The boys love their watermelon, this one was so juicy and sweet, YUM !

Barney arrived home from his holiday at Nanny & Grandpa's today. I actually think that's where he thinks his real home is !
